U.S. Army selects Special Agent Greg Ford as director.
This week, the U.S. Army announced the first civilian to take the position of Director of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID) as part of their reforms to that department. Gregory Ford has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, serving in both local and federal roles. He has also served as deputy director of operations at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
“I’m excited to welcome Greg Ford to the Army and look forward to seeing him lead the hard-working Army CID team as they restructure and enhance their capacity and capabilities,” said Acting Under Secretary of the Army Christopher Lowman. “He brings a long history of federal criminal investigative experience with him as well as a keen understanding of organizational management and the dynamics of leading an organization through a period of transformation.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the Department of Defense as civilian assistance is incorporated into their criminal investigations.
- For Director Ford to head the CID with discernment.
- For Secretary Wormuth and Acting Under Secretary Lowman as they head the U.S. Army.
